Juniors | 3-4 Years
Setting the stage for your child’s lifelong love of camp, counselors specially trained to work with young campers make our Juniors feel safe and secure. Small group activities, including games, art, dance and music emphasize participation, building confidence and having fun.

Chaverim | Grades K-3
Chaverim is everything you know and love about Apachi Day Camp! Sports, art, music, and more provide a summer filled with fun as campers develop friendships under the caring guidance of role model Camp Counselors. Campers will build self-confidence through safe and fun adventures as they learn and grow together, making memories that matter and friendships that last a lifetime.

Chaverim Plus | Grades 4-5
Please Note: Chaverim Plus no longer includes 7th grade. If you’re looking for a program specific to this age group, please check-out Chaverim on the Go, our new program for Summer 2023, which is open to 6th & 7th graders.
Campers who have graduated from Chaverim still have more fun in store as part of Chaverim Plus. Fun, older-camper focused activities keep campers coming back year after year! Choice Specialty activities provide campers the opportunity to choose their favorite activities for a more personalized summer camp experience. These older campers also get an exciting mix of trips and experiences you can only get in Chaverim Plus! Traditional camp activities make this program the perfect mix of exciting new activities with familiar camp favorites.

Chaverim on the Go | Grades 6-7
Chaverim on the Go combines traditional camp day fun with an exciting mix of three weekly field trips. To honor the Apachi value of Tikkun Olam, making the world a better place, one of the field trips will center around making a positive impact in the community. When not embarking on adventures outside of camp, 6th-7th graders will build new skills and discover new interests on our grounds through a wide variety of activities including adventure, music, dance and sports.

Sports | Grades 2-7
Sports Camp provides a summer of outdoor fun designed for young athletes to hone their skills and enhance their coordination and athleticism through a variety of active games, fun skill-building drills, and tournaments. Led by role model high school and college athletes, campers to learn teamwork and sportsmanship as they build self-confidence through healthy competition.

Performing Arts Camp | Grades 2-7
Guided by professional actors and artists, campers are immersed in all areas of acting, singing, and dancing for the stage! Campers develop their acting, dance, musical theatre, improvisation, stage makeup, and backstage skills while building self-confidence and communication skills throughout the summer. A variety of traditional camp activities, including trips, are sprinkled in to create a well-rounded summer that helps campers really come into their own and out of their shells!

Apachi Ivrit | K-5th grade
Apachi Ivrit combines all the fun of Apachi Day Camp while immersing campers in conversational Hebrew. Campers learn to understand Hebrew by listening and speaking with counselors and friends throughout the camp day, so campers learn the language by doing activities they already enjoy! Role model Camp Counselors include local Hebrew speakers as well as Israeli Counselors who bring an awesome exposure to Israeli culture and a sense of worldwide Jewish Community to Apachi Day Camp.
This program will not run in Summer 2023.
CIT: Counselors in Training | Grades 8-10
Highly motivated and responsible campers entering grade 8th-10th are invited to join us for our Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program. The CIT curriculum is designed to develop necessary skills needed to take care of children, foster creative and critical thinking, and enhance communication and collaboration efforts needed in social and professional settings. The CIT program helps teenagers explore new areas of development in a safe environment, all while learning vital skills needed to be an Apachi leader and beyond. Learn more.
After registering for the CIT program, please download the Letter of Recommendation and Get to Know Me forms, complete and email back to your Apachi Day Camp Director by April 15, 2023.
